Grace Caterers began with the hard work, passion, and dedication of our founders, who believed that good food and warm hospitality could bring people together. Long before the company was formally established, Raphel, affectionately known as Chinnan Chettan, earned the trust of families and communities through his passion for cooking and serving others. His experience in weddings, community feasts, and special occasions laid the foundation for what would later become Grace Caterers.
Together, Raphel and his wife, Shyla Raphel, nurtured the family’s passion for hospitality through their dedication, hard work, and commitment to quality. They preserved cherished recipes and traditional cooking methods passed down through generations, transforming simple family gatherings and celebrations into meaningful culinary experiences. Through years of perseverance and a genuine love for serving others, these family traditions evolved into a trusted catering service known for its authentic flavours, quality, and heartfelt hospitality.
In 1997, this family legacy became Grace Caterers & Experiences in Kochi. Built on the values of authenticity, quality, and exceptional hospitality, the company steadily grew through the trust of families who chose us to be part of their most important celebrations.
Today, the second generation proudly carries this legacy forward through Chef Dinil Raphel, the son of Raphel and Shyla Raphel. Building on the strong foundation established by his parents, he has expanded Grace Caterers into larger weddings, corporate events, industrial catering, gourmet catering, and diverse event experiences while preserving the traditions, values, and personal touch that have defined the brand from the very beginning.
